    I'm not sure who the Leaf player is but the ref on the left is either a young Shemp or Stan Laurel.

    Oh wait, I mean the ref in the middle. The guy on the left is one of the Bowery Boys I think but I can't remember which one.

    The Leaf in the background is Bronco Horvath. The photo would be from the 1962-63 season.

    mlaffs is certainly correct. It's Bronco Horvath who wore #17 for only a few games for the Leafs in 62/63 season.
