dsd said...: The Leaf in the pic is George Armstrong from the 1970-71 season. He was neither captain nor alternate in his last year, also the only season he wore this style jersey. The Flyer defencemen is Barry Ashbee. The Flyers goalie is either Bernie Parent before the Leafs got him that year OR Bruce Gamble after the Parent trade. Both Parent and Gamble wore the Jacques Plante style mask that year and wore #30. Bernie had more hair so I think this was him. Oddly enough, both goalies each played one game in MLG that year with the Flyers(source flyershistory.com); 8/5/11, 9:09 PM
