Wearing Big M's gloves?
The Red Wing is Norm Ullman, probably taken not too long before he became a Leaf.
This photo dates from the 1964-65 season, when, for whatever mysterious reasons, ALL THE LEAFS had the number 627 stamped on their gloves. This was some 4 years before Ullman would leave Detroit in the Big M deal——something unthinkable at that time.
