Thanks for Bob Neely. My fondest memory of big #3 is him playing against the Bruins in about 1974 or so. Number 4 Bobby Orr would be skating with the puck on the black-and-white TV screen. Bill Hewitt calling the play-by-play. Orr dazzles and razzles. Hewitt goes near-falsetto. Neely lines up Orr for the end-of-career killer-hit. Orr raises an eyebrow and throws off Neely's timing. Neely's ass goes flying past in the upper-right quadrant of the TV screen, missing Orr by 10 feet. If you are quick enough you can read the #3 on his back as he flies by. Orr scores. Neely dusts off his ass and goes to sit at the end of the bench. Leafs lose. The good old days!!
