This has a bit of meaning and good memories for me. While I was living and working in Markham, Ontario in the late `80`s and early `90s I met Mr. Watson numerous times and he was always happy to sign an autograph for me, tell a quick story, and show off his rings. He had his own business in Markham. He was a very nice man. After I moved away, I saw him a few years later at a card show. He stood up and shook my hand and remembered my name. After his appearance, he managed to find me at the show, and was genuinely interested in catching up with me. I was very saddened at his passing. He was a class act, as are all players from that era.

Thanks for sharing that, Tony. You may have done this already, but clicking on Harry Watson's name at the bottom of the post will bring you to all the Harry Watson content on this site - including a couple great photos and the cover (reverse) of this contract page.

Cheers,
Harold.
